Gary Young
Director / Lab Manager
Gary joined Sherring-Lucas in 1981. After achieving his Advanced Crown & Bridge qualifications with distinctions, he went on to become Chief Ceramist. Over the years, he has enjoyed advanced tuition in the U.K. Germany and Lichtenstein, with such luminaries as Shigeo Kataoka, Oliver Brix, Ernst Hegenbarth and David Korson. Gary has won multiple national awards, including Aesthetic Restorative Technician Of The Year.
Bill Manning
Director / Laboratory Consultant
Bill joined Sherring-Lucas in 1982. He went on to achieve his Advanced Crown & Bridge qualifications and was appointed the head of our Goldwork department. His depth of knowledge impressive and has only continued to progress over the years, with advanced tuition in the U.K. Switzerland and Lichtenstein, in fields including Smile Design, Implantology, Precision Attachments and Milling.
Kay
Office Supervisor
Having joined us in 2002, Kay has become a highly valued member of the team. The efficient and personable manner in which she carries out her duties, enables both Gary and Bill to devote as much time as possible to the “hands-on” running of the Laboratory.
Jason
Cad Cam Supervisor
Jason joined our team in 2002, completing his training in 2007 with distinctions. A key member of our team, he is a specialist in Digital Design and Implants. Jason's expertise also extends to Emax All Ceramics, with advanced training at Ivoclar Vivadent's headquarters in Lichtenstein.
Karl
Implant Technician
Karl is a very important member of our team, with an exceptional eye for detail and many years experience in Implants. Karl has also benefited from advanced training in Emax All Ceramics including a course at Ivoclar Vivadent's headquarters in Lichtenstein.
Agata
Ceramist
Agata joined us in 2024. Already a talented Ceramist with experience in advanced Cosmetic Ceramics, her flair and enthusiasm have already made her a key member of our team.
George
Trainee Dental Technician
We are delighted to welcome George to our team. He continues to impress us with his aptitude and excellent work ethic, especially when it comes to Cad Cam and Implants. Indeed, George is expected to graduate with Distinctions in 2025, and we are happy to be a part of what we are sure will be, his great career in Dental Technology.
Sue
Model Room Supervisor
Sue has been with the company since 1984, and is a truly invaluable member of our team. Sue has responsibility for booking in all cases, initial identification of matters requiring contact with our Clients, along with the smooth running of the Model Room.
Gosia
Modelroom Assistant
Gosia has been with Sherring-Lucas since 2021, and is invaluable in both her role as Modelroom Assistant and jointly managing incoming cases accurately onto our system.
Seiar
Ceramist
Already an experienced Ceramist when he joined us in 2022, with wide-ranging experience and a keen eye for detail. He continues to impress us. with his calm demeanour and ready smile, he is a popular and key member of our team.
Steve
Despatch Supervisor
Steve joined us early in 2020, and is the day-to-day face of Sherring-Lucas for all of our more local Clients. His big smile and friendly demeanour are the perfect fit :-)

Office Assistant
When Eileen joined us last year, she already had dental knowledge from her previous career. That, plus her bright, courteous and friendly personality, made her a perfect fit to join our administrative team :-)
