Accurate Colour Matching
The process of matching new restoration pieces with existing teeth is traditionally a challenging process. While many people believe there is only one color of white for teeth, there is actually a whole spectrum of colors. To make a restoration perfect, the colors of the new pieces and existing teeth must match perfectly.
Matching tooth color is a very important step and at Sherring-Lucas we take a great deal of care in our ability to ensure crowns, veneers and other restorations "colour match" with existing teeth every time.
To to have the colour of your teeth accurately matched, you may need to visit us. During your visit we will carry out a detailed assessment of your tooth colour. Shades are registered under colour corrected light, using either the Vita or Ivoclar shade ranges, and verified using the Vita ShadeEye electronic shade registration system, along with such details as surface texture and lustre. This information will be will be recorded, along with a set of digital photo’s for a minimum of 5 years.
